Raised on a mixed farm, Alfred says getting back into agriculture was never an if—it was a when. That moment arrived with the purchase of an orchard in Lake Country, along with an even bigger project: convincing his city-raised wife, Veronica, that trading traffic for tractors and brunch for farm chores was actually a lifestyle upgrade. Before long, it became a full-fledged family operation. Their daughter Mikala, a psychology graduate, was happily roped into running the cider sales, while son Daniel, a welder and commercial diver, found himself drafted as the chief repair and maintenance crew—proving that on a family farm, every career path eventually leads to "Can you give us a hand?"
Together we’re transforming the orchard by planting traditional French and English cider apple varieties, along with select dessert apples such as Granny Smith and Rosie-Red McIntosh.
Our goal is simple: grow exceptional apples and craft authentic cider to provide a unique on-farm experience. From orchard to glass, everything begins with the fruit we grow.
